I’ve always enjoyed making art of various kinds including film photography, multimedia painting, drawings, comic books and sculpture, to name a few.
I've showcased my art on various occasions, including gallery crawls and one co-op of local musicians, who also make art, called Minus Sound Research (MSR) alongside artists such as Mac McMaughn and Laura Ballance of Superchunk, Beth Tacular of Bowerbirds, Maria Albani of Organos and Schooner and Catherine Edgerton of Midtown Dickins.
Spending my 20s and 30s in Charlotte, NC, in close proximity to UNC School of Arts (UNCSA), fixed me in the same stomping grounds as many great HBO film writers/producers.
As founder and president of Buzz Design, Co., I bring two decades of experience working as a digital marketing consultant with design firms in the Greater Charlotte Metro. Daughter of late, master-craftsman builder, Waymon Rudolph Bullard, Jr., I strive to continue his legacy of craftsmanship and detail-oriented excellence.

From my start at high-end architecture design firms, I coordinated marketing efforts with various engineers and consultants including environmental, geological, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and, structural. I served multiple market sectors some of which include healthcare, education, corporate, civic, multifamily and residential. Upon this well-rounded foundation I've built a depth of perspective and business acumen.
I bring a flexible approach to marketing and adeptness to an ever-changing landscape of business in this digital age. I understand the importance of market research, intelligent processes and data-driven decisions in forming strategies. I'm an advocate for common sense, critical thinking, logic and reasoning in problem solving. I work smarter, not harder.
Some skills I bring include: songwriting/story-telling, graphic design, video creation, photography, event planning, project management, business development and team building.
I have partner firms in cinematography, production, website design, event planning, printing, etc. when outsourcing the finer details of projects to licensed crafts persons is necessary.
Just two years after losing my dad to prostate cancer, I was diagnosed with advanced-staged breast cancer. Just two years after losing my dad to prostate cancer, I was diagnosed with advanced-staged breast cancer. That experience of looking Death in the eye, swinging both fists at him, as he held me down by my neck...Well, that changed my perspective. It made clear to me that few things in this world matter more than truth and courage. The two go hand-in-hand, as one is a catalyst for the other.
Overcoming life-threatening cancer, my never-ending pursuit of unbridled truth, as well as, my time spent exhilarated by nature are some sources where I find the inspiration necessary to live and create authentically.
As C.S. Lewis aptly noted in The Screwtape Letters, "Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point." He expounds, "a chastity or honesty or mercy which yields to danger will be chaste or honest or merciful only on conditions. Pilate was merciful til it became risky."
Herein lies the backbone of my work. Yes, it will be honest, captivating and thoroughly-researched. Moreover, it will stand in courage, hard-won through the journey to authenticity.
